The MAC Studio fix fluid foundation was one of the brand foundations (many shades) in my professional kit when as a newbie Artist I was looking for a good base for the clients and after lots of good reviews and some recommendations I decided to buy this product.
Moving on to its packaging, the Foundation comes in a heavy glass jar bottle with a black screw cap on it without pump which makes it NOT so travel friendly. This foundation comes in a wide range of shades range- NW (Neutral Warm) which is meant for cool, pink undertones and NC (Neutral cool) which is for warm, yellow undertones. So don’t get confused.
The texture of this foundation is creamy (not runny) and quiet thick in consistency but blends easily. It can be applied using a beauty blender or buffing brush. Now let’s talk about the formula. It’s a silicon based product and has the tendency to break-out the sensitive skin types. People having normal to oily skin can give it a try but if you have dry and sensitive acne-prone skin like me then STAY AWAY from this product and I found it even oxidises a little on my skin also. The good thing is that the product has a good staying power. It lasts up to 6-7 hours easily even without a primer.
God! You know what! MAC is NOT a cruelty- free brand. They test their products on innocent animals. So I’ll definitely try to use cruelty free brand next time.

This foundation is a good for oily skin people who want a good coverage and a matte finish otherwise for Dry or acne-prone sensitive skin, it’s a BIG No-No.

Hello my lovlies, after my lipsticks, i was keen enough to write about the only foundation that, I possess, the MAC STUDIO FIX PLUS POWDER FOUNDATION, my shade is NC35. All of here must be aware with the NC and NW nomenclature from MAC and certainly i fall amongst the yellow under toned family, hence NC being my shade☺
Studio Fix is a powder and foundation in one that combines good coverage with ease of application! One-step application of foundation and powder! Designed to be used dry, the powder and pigments create a matte, velvety texture! It contains Silica, which helps to maintain a matte finish by absorbing oils on the skin as well as Talc to provide a smoother, less reflective, matte finish! The talc has been milled to a microscopic size to provide a beautiful texture while allowing the skin to breathe! Gives skin a smooth, flawless, all-matte, full-coverage finish! Long-wearing: lasts for up to eight hours! A real all-in-one! The choice of Pros and a long time favourite of MAC fans! It is available in a wide range of colours! Comes in a regular mac packaging, it is a black sturdy compact that has a mirror, a foundation pan, and a sponge case, all of it are well bifurcated and secure, it locks on well and is apt for travel, and i love the fa t that it has a mirror.

at first i was kind of ,confused between NC40 and NC 35, but after much consideration, i zeroed on NC35,tough sometimes i do find that it looks a bit lighter on my jaw line ,but that is not much of an issue
At first i went off with a powder foundation because, i know i am a little finicky with anything feeling heavy on my face, but hello who am i kidding i rarely do get time for even this during my rushing draining MBBS ,but it surely is something that i can snap on whenever in doubt or consideration. In the summers I do have used it as powder over once my mac face and body foundation and with that i can say, that this not only is a foundation in it self, but also a good setting powder if you have liquid foundation or bb cream underneath, without making the actual product look cakey.

For the coverage of the foundation I do find it do be sheer in coverage, somewhat like a setting powder, but surely more coverage than that ,but it surely is not at par with the L’Oreal true match powder foundation, in terms of coverage, but this foundation is really really good for daily wear if you please.
